Summary

Earlier, at Acko after the customer made purchase they could only update certain details of the themselves like Name, DOB etc. after the policy is issued to them. This process is called Endorsements and those updates required underwriting approval. Hence, to make this process seamless and streamlined we built the system in which now user can update their any information at any stage of policy issuance i.e.

• Post payment

• Pre-policy Issuance

This initiative, not only streamlined the process for underwriters and customers but targeting improved user satisfaction and engagement.
